Kirkhill Barbers receive 5 star reviews 98.8% of the time on booking app...
It was July of 2020 when the Scottish Government allowed Barbering to reopen, July 12 to be precise, but barbering was never to be the same again...
Pre Covid times, barbering was always known as a "walk in" service that allowed customers to walk in between opening and closing times, hoping that there wasn't a long que beckoning on arrival. Quite often customers would turn up at a time that they thought wouldn't be busy and get seen to straight away but often customers could be left waiting in a que of 4-5 people, all looking at their phones or newspapers, hoping that the induvial before them requested a "1 all over please." And due to the long queuing system at barbers, the Scottish Government were forced to make the reopening of barbering an appointment service online.
This meant that every barber and their dog was looking for the best booking system that could offer them a cost effective and easy way for their loyal customers to book an appointment prior to turning up to the barbershop for their lockdown haircuts. The chase was on!!
Kirkhill Barbers was able to find a suitable and well established website with a booking app called Boosky. Founded in 2014 Booksy allows customers to book the barber they like for a time that suits them, the app is easy to navigate and the website is just as easy. On completion of the customers haircut the customer is then offered by Booksy to give the barber & shop a review, letting them know what they thought about their experience at Kirkhill Barbers.
The review system offers customers a chance to review & rate the barbers by selecting 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 stars, 1 star being the worst experience, 5 stars being the best experience. Once the customer selects the star rating, they are then offered the opportunity to describe their experience. This offers new customers a chance to see a reviewing system that only allows for actual customers whom have received a haircut at the salon.
1 year on from Kirkhill Barbers reopening and signing up to Booksy, Kirkhill Barbers have received 169 reviews; with a total of 167 customers giving a 5 star review and 2 customers offering a 4 star review. This means that 98.8% of customers rate their experience at Kirkhill Barbers a 5 star experience.
